​The Double Eagle Golf Tour is a non-profit golf league for the weekend recreational golfer.

We typically have a tournament one Saturday per month from February thru October at a different course around the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Entry fee for a single day event is usually $95.​

Annual membership fee is $35.

We play with handicaps determined by your tournament scores within our golf league. Until a handicap is established (after 3 rounds), the Callaway Scoring System is used. The format for each tournament varies and is determined by the number of players at each event. When we have enough players, the format is usually individual stroke with multiple flights determined by your tournament handicap.

We want players to have a good time and maintain a good pace of play, so we have 'local rules" similar to "the relaxed rules of golf" as seen on the Golf Channel. Rules such as inside the leather 'gimmie' putts, 2 mulligans anywhere on the course during your round, and a max score of 3 over par on each hole. See "local rules" for additional info.

Payouts for 1st place usually gets their entry fee back. So, we're not in it for huge money, but it's fun to get some cash back when you play well. We also have closest to the pin cash prizes and random cash prize drawings after the event. An optional $10 skins game is available.

If you play in at least 4 events during the year, you will qualify to play in the club championship in October. It's a 2 day (Sat,Sun) 36 hole tournament. But the fee is still the same as a one day tournament.
